“ Very cool cafe/bookstore combo, with a small section of local art at the back. Slightly disappointed by the tiny portions for gluten-free options considering the price, though gf bread is generally a lot smaller than wheat. But the flavor and freshness was definitely delicious and almost makes up for it. There also seems to be a game collection for patrons to play while there, and a cool play area for kids. A good place to spend a rainy afternoon! ”
“ Oh my goodness! The latte was delicious, hazelnut/ toasted almond/ dark chocolate with homemade whip! They also have hard ice cream& every one is very nice. ”
“ Family-friendly cafe with play area, games, books for sale, and live music. Counter service. Lots of seating. Friendly staff! Good coffee and ice cream. ”
“ Stopped in for a hot chocolate. Very good. They have various coffees, tea. As well as sandwiches and ice cream & a few other items. Very nice cafe & coffee shop. Laid back and relaxing. Went back for a bite for breakfast: English muffin & bagel, coffee. Neither one was toasted, most likely microwaved. We asked for them to be toasted, wife said her bagel was very "doughy." My English muffin was barely warm. Butter was one big "glob" on one side & nothing on other piece of muffin. Cofee's were not so good. However, gal at register was very nice. ”
“ This is a great spot with a lot of options. It’s hard to find gluten-free options in the UP, but they had gluten-free bread with vegan options. They made sure to ask what my dietary restrictions were so they could prepare the food separately. Highly recommend. There is a very fun book selection, too. ”
“ Wonderful place to read a book, listen to music, and eat some outside the box food. Great experience and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again when in the area. ”
“ The breakfast sandwiches are delicious! I got the croissant with chipotle sauce and it blew me away! Also, the coffee is delicious as well! Vibe of the shop is chill and rustic. Love the bookstore component with the various art for sale. Truly a great place to start the day! ”
“ I recently visited the Falling Rock Cafe and Bookstore at 104 E Munising Ave, in Munising, MI. It's an interesting place that you can order a breakfast on and go sit and enjoy it on the attached bookstore. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee and enjoyed them while sitting in the bookstore where others were doing the same at. I guess this combination works, or at least here. Good food. ”
